By downloading, installing, or using Mastery Book, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you don't agree with any part of these terms, please don't use the app.

What Mastery Book Is

Mastery Book is a study tool designed to help students track and learn from their mistakes. It's meant to supplement your studies, not replace them. We provide the platform - you provide the hard work!

What You Can Do

You're free to:

• Create and manage your study mistakes
• Add images, notes, and explanations
• Organize mistakes by subject, unit, and lesson
• Back up your data to your Google Drive
• Use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes
• Access all features included in your subscription tier

What You Can't Do

Please don't:

• Reverse engineer or modify the app
• Use the app for any illegal purpose
• Upload harmful or inappropriate content
• Try to hack, spam, or abuse the app
• Share copyrighted study material without permission
• Resell or redistribute the app

Subscriptions & Payments

Free Tier

• Limited to 5 mistakes per subject
• All core features included except adding new subject
• No payment required

Premium (Mastery Book Pro)

• Unlimited mistakes
• Add new Subjects
• Billed monthly or yearly through your app store
• Automatically renews unless you cancel
• Cancel anytime from your device's subscription settings
• Refunds handled by Google Play or Apple App Store

Your Content

You own your content!

Everything you create in Mastery Book (mistakes, notes, images) belongs to you. We don't claim any rights to it.

However, you're responsible for:

• Ensuring you have the right to upload content
• Not violating copyright laws
• Keeping your content appropriate

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms.

Data & Privacy

Your data stays on YOUR device. We don't collect or store your study notes on our servers. Backups go to YOUR Google Drive. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Disclaimers

Educational Tool Only

Mastery Book is a study aid. We don't guarantee exam success, admission to colleges, or specific results. Your success depends on your effort and preparation.

No Warranties

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We strive for perfection but can't guarantee the app will be error-free or always available.

Not Medical/Professional Advice

For NEET students: We help you track mistakes, but we're not providing medical advice or guarantees about your medical career.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for:

• Lost data (always keep backups!)
• Exam results or academic performance
• Technical issues or downtime
• Decisions you make based on app usage
• Third-party services (Google Drive, app stores)

Maximum liability: The amount you paid for your subscription (if any) in the past 12 months.

Changes to the App

We're constantly improving Mastery Book! We may:

• Add new features
• Remove or modify existing features
• Update the design
• Fix bugs

We'll try to notify you of major changes, but we're not obligated to.

Termination

You can stop using the app anytime:

• Just uninstall it
• Cancel your subscription
• Delete your data

We may terminate access if:

• You violate these terms
• You abuse the app
• Required by law

Your data stays with you even if we part ways (it's on your device!).

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms occasionally. When we do:

• We'll update the "Last Updated" date
• Major changes will be announced in the app
• Continued use means you accept the new terms

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved in Indian courts.
